THE APPROACH:
A Lifetime Behind the Lens
Where more than four decades of international experience
meet architecture, hospitality and visual storytelling.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Architecture is more than steel, glass and stone. Every property reflects the vision of its architect, the character of its surroundings and the experience it offers its guests. My role is not simply to document these spaces, but to reveal the atmosphere that makes each destination unique.
Every assignment begins before I unpack the camera. I spend time walking the property, observing how light moves through the spaces and paying close attention to the first impressions of a first-time visitor. Those initial impressions often mirror what future guests experience on arrival, making them an invaluable guide when deciding what deserves emphasis in the final imagery.
Only then do I begin planning the photographs and films—choosing the time of day, the angles and the sequence of images that will tell the property's story with clarity and authenticity.
International Recognition
Recognition is earned through decades of consistent work. I am proud to be only the tenth Canadian to receive the Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society (UK), one of photography's highest international distinctions. Together with more than 100 international awards, including the Benjamin Franklin Gold Medal, these honours reflect decades of dedication to craftsmanship, creativity and professional excellence. I sat many times as Invited International Photography Judge.
THE REACH
My assignments ranged from work for luxury hospitality brands such as Kempinski, IHG and Sotheby's International Realty to collaboration with the BBC and National Geographic productions. Whether working in the Caribbean, Europe or North America, the objective remains unchanged: creating visual content that strengthens a client's brand while telling an authentic story.

Photography has taken me to many countries across four continents, working with luxury hospitality clients, broadcasters and tourism authorities.
Beyond beautiful imagery, my objective is simple: to create photographs and films that strengthen a property's brand, inspire confidence and help clients attract discerning travellers. Every commission is approached as a marketing investment rather than a photographic exercise.
Clear objectives and good preparation create the freedom to concentrate on what matters most—finding the images that communicate the property's character. Every successful assignment is built on mutual trust. My clients rely on my experience to interpret their property creatively, while I rely on their local knowledge to ensure the spaces are prepared and ready for photography. That partnership allows each project to proceed efficiently and with minimal disruption, unfolding naturally while minimizing disruption to guests and daily operations.
